                      I finally figured out how to install the sata drives. mge included 1" standoff brass -screws+. at first I thought I was                       
                      missing a bracket, and had even thought about painting one I was about to salvage off an old aluminum case.  but                      
                      alas! the sata drives are now suspended nicely in the front base of the case.                              
                                                       
                    all I need now is a video card I think and I'm set. I could get an OS installed to test all my parts with an old ass one I've                      
                    got here lying around, , but I would rather get the x800 xt and a copy of windows 2003.  time to give my pal erin a call.

                      the psu is installed, as are all the case fans. one minor issue arose when attempting to install the ceiling case fan.  the                      
                    psu rear fan overlaps the case ceiling fan so the screw holes don’t line up.  that's my only issue so far.                          
                                                       
                      the audigy chassis and cd/dvd player are now installed in the top two 5.25" bays. I'll definitely pull those out and                       
                      touch up with flat black paint. the psu chassis is finished in a nice glossy black and shines through the clear case                       
                      nicely. I intend to sleeve and heat shrink all psu wiring, and swap out molex connectors with uv red reflective                      
                      versions.  dependng on who you talk to, these steps are insignificant.  however, the brighter mind will see that                       
                      consistancy is key in this design. all psu related items are red - down to the case switch. all cooling components

                    my motherboard has been sitting here wondering what's up for the last couple weeks.  I've seated the ram and cpus                      
                      into the motherboard sockets for storage purposes, and now all 3 items are clearly visible thru the MGE case.  sitting

                    I assembled the acryllic case today.  it was actually pretty fun. the case is precision cut and sound in form and                       
                      purpose. all components are clearly visible. this is a first. I've decided to spray paint flat black on the audigy tin

                      i'm looking over this nicely packaged mge uv blue reflective case that arrived today.  it's my impression that they                      
                      don't want it damaged enroute to yours.  It's packaged well and unscathed.

                      i have a lot going on atm,  but i've managed to squeak in a moment to firmly seat my two amd opteron 246 cpus                      
                      into the msi k8t800 master2 far motherboard.  there appear to be a lot of pins, but there's an intelligent                        
                      set of seating imprents on the 940 socket which helps you align the cpu when placing it.  this is easily done                        
                      on your first attempt.  there's no worry about misguided or bent pins.  the weight of the opteron is solid and                        
                      surprisingly heavy for its' size.  the motherboard is a work of art, and on my table here under good light it passes                      
                      all points of the examination.  I have in my hand an excellent motherboard,  a set of kick ass cpus, 2GB of insane                      
                      ram, and a set of raptor drives.  all I need is now is a dallas cowboy chearleader for a girlfriend the world would

                      damnit if fedex didn't screw me over today.  now I have to go to them.  what an irony.   It happened when I got                      
                      home.  my package wasn't there or with the neighbor.  I was just giving praise to the bastards a day before.  Instead                      
                      of leaving my parts with the neighbor they went and got all upity on me and now I have to drive to 35 and parmer.                       
                      there goes mylunch hour tomorrow.                                
                                                         
                      I came up with a better custom water cooling solution and a draft version of design#5 is now up.  also, I'm done

                      i received my ram today.   fedex rocks.  most people don't even know it, but they have a hidden symbol in their                      
                      logo.  it's true.  nothing escapes the razor eyes of smOke.                            
                                                         
                      i went ahead tossed them in the k8t800 master2 far motherboard just for shits and giggles.  they fit snuggley and                      
                      nicely.. 1GB stick each. i'm getting an additional 2GB in a couple weeks.  i have a storage scheme in mind. More to
